Flint travelled to Oswestry following their unlucky defeat last week away to Llangefni. The Flint forwards were in excellent form and from the kick off proved to powerful for the Oswestry pack.

Flints first try by Kerion Jones was an excellent pack effort when he was driven over the line by the forwards (converted). Luke Williams went over shortly afterwards following some good back row play a scrum (unconverted). Further tries followed quickly from Chris Bains (converted) and Jamie Stanhoff (converted) and at half time Flint had a comfortable lead.

The second half proved to be much harder when Oswestry brought on some big forwards. Flints backs suddenly faced a formidable back row and under pressure started to make mistakes. Oswestry ran in two converted tries before Flint replied when Danny Langford charged over from 5 meters following some aggressive forward play (converted). Oswestry ran in one more late try (unconverted) but some strong defensive play by Flint in the last five minutes gave them a well deserved victory.
